Our Vision

Our vision is for children ages 8-13, to build a strong and lasting foundation by  honoring their connection to Source and all of life while having a blast doing it!  .  Combine the teachings of Spirit with their own intuitive source you have a beautiful way of living for the rest of their lives.

Overview

The children will arrive at the camp on Sunday afternoon and remain thru the following Saturday. Each day throughout the week the children will be exposed to a new Spiritual aspect as well as amble time playful and heart felt experiences each day.  These aspects will inspire young people to understand and respect themselves as well as their connection to others.  Some of the aspects included are:  Connection, Clarity, Manifestation, Oneness, Self Respect, and Life Balance.  All of these Spiritual aspects serve to strengthen and maintain the child’s connection to their Spirituality in every aspect of their lives.

Spirituality is the thread that runs through all of life and so it is with their activities each day, teaching them skills and techniques for integrating all that they have learned into their lives at home,.

There will be a 10:1 child to adult ratio of camp teachers; plus camp counselors. These teachers and counselors are certified Spiritual Leaders, Coaches and Counselors  through the Hope of Humanity Foundation and will oversee the daily activities of the children  which  may include: hiking, rafting, archery, zip lining, Appalachian hiking, wisdom circles, and horseback riding, arts and crafts, nature study, swimming, gardening, drama, team building, and various other uplifting and fun activities.

The children will be given the opportunity to learn and appreciate how vitally important their connection to themselves, the earth, and their spirituality is. The teachings of the adult camp instructors will support theses concepts. Peaceful coexistence, conscious living and cultural awareness modules will also be explored.

Daily duties allow the children the opportunity to develop self confidence and a sense of responsibility within their family or community environment.  Some daily duties are assisting with meal preparation, gardening, organization and clean up.

At the end of each day the children will celebrate and share in Circle.  During circle time they will have an opportunity to share, create and present plays, sing songs, tell stories and play games.  At this evening group time, the children may also discuss how they embodied that day’s spiritual aspect. This time helps promote self-expression, unity and creativity for the children.

We also offer an adult integration workshop on pick up day.  This workshop allows for a strong understanding of their child’s new sense of connection, community,  and self awareness.  It is our HOPE that the parents and their children will c0-create a new environment that integrates these new awareness’s within their own homes.
