Big Dreams Require Big Discipline
Do you have big dreams, but no discipline?
Believe it or not, that’s been a struggle for me to overcome most of my life.
Before I stepped into making multiple 6 figures in business it seemed to be one big ball of dysfunction. Meaning, I “thought’ I was being disciplined and purposeful…I just had no idea what I didn’t know.
It wasn’t until I hired my first coach that I realized I didn’t get what being disciplined meant,
but I had big dreams that I wanted to see fulfilled and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to make them a reality. so here is what I want to share with you today…
As my life and my businesses evolved over the years and taking on new faces of staff, teams and larger trainings, I realized Big Dreams require Big Discipline in all areas of your life, not just business. I’m going to share a ‘trick’ (yes i like tricks, the obvious doesn’t always work for me) that one of my amazing coaches Matthew Ferry taught me, that allowed me to get purposeful and disciplined in every aspect of my life and helped take me from a depressing life of dysfunction to a life I am happy and motivated to be working on each and everyday.
Does stuff still happen? You betcha…but I’ve got a plan to stick with what makes me happy and allow the drama of life to slide on by.For those of you that have met me you know I’m a pretty happy person. this is one reason why
First, write out these 10 Aspects of Life….
Health
Spiritual
Business
Mental
Fun
Relationship
Family
Money
Physical
Environment
Rate each aspect 1-10, 10 being ‘OMG it is great’ to 1 ‘OMG this really sucks’
And then ask the question ” What would it take to make this aspect of my life a 10?”
